GRC balconies and sills bring refined contrasts to a Copenhagen courtyard

Location

This U-shaped courtyard building near Langebro features GRC balcony elements and sills that complement its classic design while adding contrast and modern durability with an eye-catching effect.

Built in 2006, this iconic three-winged courtyard building near Langebro in Copenhagen balances classic inspiration with contemporary craftsmanship. The structure features dark grey bricks from Petersen Tegl, zinc roofing reminiscent of traditional Copenhagen rooftops, and meticulously crafted GRC balcony elements and sills.

We delivered the white and light grey GRC components, which create striking contrasts against the textured facade. These elements enhance the building’s overall elegance while providing lightweight durability, aligning beautifully with the high-end aesthetic of the 151 apartments and 13 penthouses.
