Townhouses with a beautiful view
These three townhouses are part of a larger construction project comprising of over 400 apartments. The development has taken place over several phases with various architects responsible for their own areas. The 3-story townhouses, designed by Niels Torp Architects, consists of a total of 18 apartments and are the architectural firm’s second phase of the development in Hundsund. The properties are graced with a beautiful view and plenty of natural sunlight, so the focus has been on creating good sun and light conditions.
A calm expression with clean surfaces
When designing the houses architects wanted to create a calm architectural expression with muted earth colours and clean surfaces. BB fiberbeton manufactured around 140 balcony elements in 27 variants. All elements are 12 mm in thickness and coloured in BBf no.01 standard white.
Balcony elements from BB fiberbeton are made to order and tailored to the individual project. The formability of GRC gives architects a great design freedom to conform the balcony and parapet elements to the wanted design.

Thus, making it easier to work with and transport whilst also easing the load on buildings.
GRC is an excellent facade material if durability and sustainability is of great concern and importance. GRC is durable for more than 100 years without any technical maintenance and it does not dent, rot, corrode, nor burn (class A material). With a sustainable material and an environmentally friendly production without toxic materials, GRC elements from BB fiberbeton are ideal for environmental certifications, such as LEED, DGNB, and BREEAM.
GRC is made of white cement and fine aggregates and reinforced with glassfibre. Elements are produced using a special spray-technique that allows for a low water/cement-ratio, a low thickness, and a high strength.
